Allfloors Carpet Gallery is a proud, family owned company. Founded by Gary and Glenise Travaglia in 1987, we have operated from our showroom here in Carnegie since 1998 and today our business is one of the most respected carpet retailers in Melbourne.

Jodie and Jarrod, the second generation of the family joined the business more than 15 years ago adding youthful enthusiasm, energy, ideas and a commitment to ensure the family connection continues.

Allfloors Carpet Gallery has been built as a client-focused, retail floor covering store. We have introduced many changes to our operation over the years including some industry firsts, and are committed to working constantly to improve our service to our valued clients. Our client list includes home owners, interior designers, architects, stylists and builders.  Our latest innovation ‘a new way to purchase carpet’ is also an industry first, designed to make the process of choosing new flooring much simpler and far less stressful.

Gary Travaglia
Director

Gary has more than 30 years experience in the industry beginning in 1987 when he and his wife and business partner, Glenise purchased Sun Centre Carpets in Swan Hill.

Together, some fifteen years later, after taking that business to a whole new dimension, they moved to Melbourne and Allfloors was created.

Since then, Gary has introduced many industry firsts taking the business from a franchise retail store to an independently owned exclusive, high-end consulting showroom.

Gary has succeeded in doing this by regularly attending international industry conventions to ensure that our clients are kept up to date keeping on top with the latest fashion trends and commercial options.

Gary has been invigorated having his 2 eldest children join the business and willingly embraces their new ideas with enthusiasm.

In his day to day work for the company, he specialises in medium-sized commercial projects, helping his clients move from the specifying stage right through to completion whilst providing a detailed, hands-on and thorough project management service.

As a result, many of Gary’s clients have been with him for more than 20 years.

Gary’s has an unsurpassed passion for playing and watching cricket and golf. These interests take both himself and Glenise to all corners of the globe often to watch the Australian cricket team in action.

When not actively engaged in these sports himself, Gary spends time with his grandchildren.

Glenise Travaglia
Director and Admin Manager

Glenise too has over 30 years of experience in the flooring industry. She has been successfully running the Allfloors Corporate Services Branch from the beginning of the business in 1987.

With a corporate background in Business Management, Glenise is highly experienced and extremely efficient in her work, knowing our clients and their needs backwards.

Her skills lie in the smooth running of the business on a day to day basis. Her thoughtfulness, her ability to provide quick on-the-spot solutions, along with her astute business sense make her a central part of the success of Allfloors.

Glenise too has embraced the second generation joining the family business and enjoys the additional time with them as a result.

When not in the office, you will find Glenise volunteering at Cabrini Hospital, spending time with her grandchildren or travelling with Gary.

Jodie Hay
Director and Residential Manager

Jodie has been involved in the Allfloors business for more than 14 years having been heavily involved in its initial setup in 1998.

She left Australia to travel through Europe and returned in 2002 bringing back a passion and flair for interiors. Jodie expanded the business to incorporate interior designers and interior architects with enthusiasm and drive such that the company’s residential division has exceeded all expectations.

Jodie has extensive experience in custom-made products recently co-designing the bespoke ‘Amici’ range for Allfloors.

Jodie’s particular professional expertise is in helping her clients move from concept stage thoughts and ideas to creating their dream home interior. She is able to help source different interior options for clients to choose from and finds the right product for every project. 

Jodie stays ahead of current interior trends and regularly has exclusive color options custom-made for clients before industry manufacturers become aware of this new color range. Jodie’s enthusiasm can be contagious and her clients have returned many times to access her creative services so that additional projects can be completed.

Jodie has recently started a family and has 2 beautiful young boys, Larson & Sasha. She has been able to successfully balance raising a family whilst continuing to be an integral part of the Travaglia family business.

It is a rare find indeed to have youth, competence and experience in this specialized and dynamic industry.

Jarrod Travaglia

Director, General & Commercial Manager (Commercial & Residential Sites)

Jarrod recently took over as Allfloors General Manager after a decade with the company and, with his youth and experience, has taken the business to a whole new level. He oversees all residential and commercial contracts making sure that every project is completed to the highest standard.

His previous corporate involvement was with Musashi where he was central to all aspects of this business ranging from product warehousing, stock distribution and the sponsorship co-ordinator for professional athletes. All this and the knowledge that he gained as a member of the commercial team with Gribbles Pathology provide him with sound business acumen and a skilled approach to customer service.

Jarrod specializes in medium to large commercial projects, where he works closing with project managers and foremen to ensure each and every project meets tight deadlines whilst delivering a quality product.

He is extremely methodical in everything he does. He follows complex plans from the initial pricing stage through to project handover - something his clients say puts him in a league of his own.

Personally Jarrod has a passion for horses and horse racing. He is the founder/manager of the Boom Racing Syndicate that owns current Group 1 winner, Sonntag and other group & listed winners Boomwaa & Rocky Boomboa.

Also passionate about his cricket, Jarrod is heavily involved with Oakleigh Cricket Club, he has just retired from playing and was captain coach for many years & was awarded life membership in 2015.

Luke Avis

Operations Manager

Luke has had over 20 years experience in flooring, previously installing & project managing rubber surfaces.

Luke is extremely detailed, particular & proud in all projects that he manages.

A tireless worker, he will do whatever it takes to ensure that a project runs as efficiently and seamless as possible. 

Luke manages all aspects of our business operations from the warehouse to deliveries and of course installations.  He is responsible for coordinating and liaising with all our installers and projects and will ensure your project is delivered on time & to the highest standard.

Luke also has a young family with three children. When he is not working, he spends any spare time with his kids where sport is a large part of family life.  A big footy fan, he is heavily involved in his local footy club.

John O'Keefe (JOK)

Project Coordinator

JOK brings youthful enthusiasm to the business. He possesses a very friendly personality as well as a terrific work ethic.

JOK started out as an Operations Assistant here at Allfloors and has worked his way up to his current role.

Responsible for undertaking site checks and measures and drawing up plans, JOK helps ensure that installations are carried out efficiently and to plan by liaising with site managers and clients on projects.  

Like many of the Allfloors team, JOK is also a big cricket supporter. He currently plays with the Oakleigh Cricket Club and was part of the team that won the 2016/17 3rd XI premiership.

Susanna Short

Office Manager

Susanna is originally from Ireland and has worked here at Allfloors since 2015.

Susanna's has brought her wealth of business experience to the Allfloors team where she is responsible for office operations and procedures.

Susanna likes to work efficiently and methodically and does her best to ensure everyone else in our business follows suit.  Highly organised and tidy, you can definitely spot which desk belongs to her!

When not in the office, Susanna enjoys exploring Melbourne and Victoria and getting to know her new home country. Being a big sports fan she enjoys attending the vast range of sporting events Melbourne has to offer.
